Chaire AGROSYS - (c) Samuel PEYRE - Domaine d'Arboras - AdVini

AgroSYS Partnership Chair

Update : 04/11/2023

Bringing together scientific, academic and business communities to innovate for sustainable agrosystems.

To meet the challenges of climate change and agro-ecological transition, stakeholders in agriculture and rural areas, industrialists and politicians all now agree that new, more sustainable agricultural systems must be developed.

Agronomic innovations can only meet this objective via a systemic approach, integrating environmental services, sector requirements and territorial challenges, as well as the complex interactions between plants, soil, bio-aggressors and biodiversity.

The AgroSYS Partnership Chair supports territorial projects and strategic discussions of business clusters and farm networks in France and abroad. In particular, it strives to:

  • Disseminate and exchange knowledge and methods involved in sustainable agro-system engineering (organization of seminars and conferences, development of teaching tools and the implementation of agro-ecological engineering, identification of training needs of professionals...)
  • Identify competencies and build partnerships between research units, technical institutes and partner companies to design innovative systems and techniques and assess their contribution to sustainability.
