Applying to the International Master “Agronomy and Agrifood Science”


Applicants from a country with a "Study in France" (CEF) Campus France procedure (list below) must establish a Campus France file.

This procedure is required. It does not replace the application for the Master 3A, which must be carried out in parallel on the Montpellier SupAgro application platform.

  • 1st year (M1)

    Admission based on qualifications

    • Holders of a level I (Bac + 3) or higher degree or international equivalent (Bachelor), in the fields of agricultural, zootechnical and veterinary sciences, life sciences, or earth sciences;
    • Selection of candidates on the basis of their academic performance, personal motivation, the coherence of their training plans, proficiency in French and English.
    • Prerequisites: fluency in French (B2 level); solid foundations in science and the disciplinary and methodological approaches essential for the course; professional experience, preferably international, strongly recommended.
  • 2nd year (M2)

    Admission based on qualifications

    • Validated M1 level in an engineering school or university in the fields of agricultural, zootechnical and veterinary sciences, life sciences, or earth sciences. Priority awarded to students who have successfully completed the first year (M1) of the Master 3A programme.
    • Selection of candidates on the basis of their academic performance, personal motivation, the coherence of their training plans, proficiency in French and English.
    • Prerequisites: general knowledge of environments, mastery of the basics of plant and animal production and the analysis of agricultural production systems, basic concepts in statistics, English, fluency in French (B2 level). Minimum level required in the basic disciplines of the course.  Professional experience, preferably international, strongly recommended.
